Sport Director (100%)

THE ROLE:

Tudor Pro Cycling is seeking an experienced Sport Director to lead and manage the team’s competitive and strategic approach. This individual will play a pivotal role in race strategy, race planning, team performance, athlete development, and logistical execution. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of professional cycling, leadership expertise, and a passion for guiding a high-performance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Race Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement tactical race strategies that align with the team’s goals.
Athlete Development: Mentor and support riders, optimizing their race intelligence and contribute to their performance growth.
Logistics & Operations: Oversee race logistics, including travel, schedules, and equipment coordination.
Data-Driven Performance Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for success.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with team management, coaches, and support staff to ensure seamless operations and a strong team culture.
Sponsorship & Public Relations: Represent Tudor Pro Cycling at media events, sponsor engagements, and industry forums when required.
Scouting & Recruitment: Identify and attract emerging talent to strengthen the team’s roster.
Compliance & Ethics: Ensure adherence to UCI regulations, anti-doping policies, and the highest standards of sportsmanship.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Proven experience as a Sport Director in a professional cycling team (UCI WorldTour level preferred).
Deep understanding of cycling strategy and tactics, athlete management, and race dynamics.
Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in performance analysis tools and sports science methodologies.
Fluency in English; additional languages (French, Italian or German) are a plus.
Availability for extensive travel and willingness to work irregular hours.
