Team Doctor (m/f)
Tudor Pro Cycling is a leading professional cycling team competing at the highest level of international cycling. Our team is committed to excellence, both on and off the bike, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Doctor to join our medical staff. This role is crucial to ensuring the health, safety, and peak performance of our riders throughout the racing season.

LOCATION: Various (Travel Required)
TYPE: Full-time or a minimum of 40 “race days”
START DATE: October 2024 or by arrangement
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive medical care to all team members, including injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Oversee and manage the team’s medical needs during training camps, races, and other events.

Work closely with the coaching staff, therapists, nutritionists, and other support personnel to develop and implement individualized health and wellness programs for each rider.

Monitor and advise on riders' physical condition, ensuring they maintain optimal health and performance levels.

Manage medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all relevant health regulations.

Be on-call for any medical emergencies during races or training sessions and also to assigned riders during the whole season.

Coordinate with external medical facilities and specialists as needed.

Stay updated on the latest medical research and sports medicine practices to provide the best possible care.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in sports medicine, orthopedics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-4 years of experience working as a sports physician, preferably with elite athletes or professional teams.

Deep understanding of the physiological demands of professional cycling and experience in managing cycling-related injuries.

Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Willingness to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

Fluent in English; proficiency in French, Italian and German is a plus.
