DATE OF BIRTH: 15.10.2004
FAVOURITE DISH: I'm a fan of Mexican: burrito bowls with Mexican beef or chicken always hits the spot.
HOBBIES: I like to spend time with friends a lot! I’ve always been an active outdoors person, so I like to try new things, be it sport or just trying new things. I also like to cook new recipes and tidy up when I have time.
BEST MOMENT OF YOUR CAREER: Winning the U23 National Time Trial title. It was my first big achievement after choosing to pursue road cycling. It was also great to have my whole family there to share the moment with. It was also my first cycling coach tailing me in the TT, so it was really special to reap the rewards alongside him.
DREAM RACE: Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, road race and time trial. If things go well for me as a cyclist, I believe this would be the pinnacle of my career - a hometown Olympics!
FAVORITE TRAINING ROUTE: In Australia for sure my favourite is the ‘Nebo loop’. It’s such an iconic loop as it has plenty of elevation gain, quiet roads, almost no traffic lights and all my training partners from back at home have a perfect meeting point at one of the “servos” (fuel stations). It’s also got plenty of options to extend it, which is nice as you can implement this loop into 3,4,5 and 6 hour loops. It definitely gets used a lot!
NEVER MISSING IN RACE LUGGAGE: My headphones and a pack of wet wipes, to keep my shoes nice and white.
DREAM JOB AS A KID: Airline pilot, to follow my dad's footprint. My dad is a pilot, so I have always found fascinating to fly a huge machine like that.
SPORTS BEFORE CYCLING: I started triathlon and cross-country running when I was 10 years old, competing at national level when I got older. When COVID hit in 2020, all triathlons were cancelled, leaving me to only cross-country running. In 2023, I started riding my bike with a friend, Matt Greenwood, and soon enough I linked up with his coach and began training seriously. Since then, things progressed quickly with teams and results, which made me commit to this dream.
MOST DARING MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE: After two seriously life threatening injuries less than 6 months apart in 2024, I’m still daring enough to get myself back on the bike. I could’ve easily hung up the bike at this moment. But here I am daring to write my next chapter with Tudor Pro Cycling.
