Building The Future: Connor Wright Joins Tudor Pro Cycling

Australian multi-discipline talent Connor Wright joins Tudor Pro Cycling and is set to kick off his first year in the U23 category with the Team’s Development program in 2027.

Hailing from Western Australia, 18-year-old Connor Wright has taken the international cycling scene by storm. He is the reigning Australian Junior National Time Trial Champion and recently captured the overall title at the UCI Junior Nations Cup race ‘Medzinárodné Dni Cyklistiky’ in Slovakia. Off the tarmac, Connor currently dominates the mountain bike circuit, boasting six wins - including all three UCI MTB XCO Junior Series events - out of seven starts.

“I’m really looking forward to joining Tudor Pro Cycling and racing with the Devo Team next year,” says Connor Wright. “I believe it’s the perfect next step for my career. This season had its ups and downs, but I’ve really enjoyed all of it and picked up some great wins on both the road and mountain bike.”

His ambitions are clear: “My short-term goal are the upcoming World Championships on both the mountain bike and the road. Long-term, I aim to represent Australia at the 2028 Olympic Games and build a career on the road. I thrive in hard road races as a punchier rider, though and for now, I still have work to do on the long climbs.”

Connor credits Tudor Pro Cycling’s supportive environment as a key factor in his decision. “The Team’s motivation to support my dual ambitions on the MTB and road, and their commitment to developing athletes, really stood out. Having access to the Team’s new headquarters in Switzerland and a world-class support structure will be key in my progression.”

He has already integrated well with the Team during a training camp in July.
