Tour de France Gallery: Week 2 - From West to East

It was a tough day in the Massif Central, before sprinters and breakaway artists took centre stage later in the week. The Tour then raced the Vosges and saw incredible crowds on Saturday, before its first dramatic Alpine showdown on Sunday.

Yannis Voisard, Marc Hirschi, Julian Alaphilippe, Michael Storer and Rick Pluimers animated the action, battling in the breakaways and fighting for their opportunities.

Swiss climbing sensation Yannis Voisard powered up the mountain roads and climbed the GC, now sitting 11th overall heading into the final week.

Next week brings a crucial Time Trial and a double ascent of the legendary Alpe d’Huez. We’re ready for a spectacle in the Alps, where Paris is already visible on the horizon.
