There’s a first time for everything: now, Tudor Pro Cycling is making its debut at "La Vuelta". As the third and final Grand Tour of the season, the Vuelta is Spain’s pinnacle of pro cycling and is traditionally characterised by aggressive, unpredictable racing.

For Tudor Pro Cycling, this marks the first time in the Team’s history to tackle the Spanish Grand Tour and race for glory on a demanding parcours, which mainly covers the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula.

Marco Brenner and Will Barta are targeting the decisive climbing stages, both eager to break new ground as they take on the challenge of Grand Tour leadership. Gaining valuable experience and staying adaptable - ready to adjust strategies and approaches to race situations and refine strategies in response to evolving race scenarios.

Stefan Küng and Arthur Kluckers are concentrating on the two individual time trials. Stefan also aims to animate the race on breakaway days, while for Arthur, this debut Grand Tour marks an important step in his career - mastering three weeks of racing will be crucial to his development in Spain.

Roland Thalmann, Fabian Weiss, and Hannes Wilksch are also preparing for their Grand Tour debuts. Their top priorities are supporting the Team leaders, racing proactively, and gaining vital experience throughout the three weeks of racing.

In contrast to the rookies stands Larry Warbasse: the veteran will pin on his number for an impressive 14th Grand Tour. He will embrace the role of the road captain and play a pivotal part in guiding his less experienced teammates.

The race begins with a short and sharp individual time trial (ITT) in Monte Carlo, Monaco, on Saturday, August 22, before heading west for two stages in France and a challenging mountain day in Andorra. After visiting three countries in the first four days, the Vuelta finally enters Spain on day five and remains there for the rest of the race.

Six mountain stages, five hilly stages, four medium mountain stages, four flat stages, and two individual time trials are on the menu for the peloton before crossing the final finish line in Granada on September 13.
