Worlds U23 Silver Medallist Jan Huber Joins Tudor Pro Cycling

Tudor Pro Cycling is proud to welcome rising Swiss talent Jan Huber on a multi-year deal starting with the 2026 season.

27.09.2025

At just 20 years old (born in 2005), Jan Huber has already made his mark on the international stage. Originally a mountain biker, he made the switch to road racing this season — and wasted no time in proving himself.

Earlier in the year, Devo Sports Director Dany Hirs spotted him during a local race in Valais, Switzerland. Impressed by his performance, Dany brought Jan into the Tudor scouting system, which led to an invitation to the Swiss Test Day in July — a Team event designed to identify the country’s most promising talent. At the Team Headquarters in Sursee, he demonstrated both his athletic potential through a series of on-bike tests and his character during introduction meetings with the staff.

Jan then confirmed his stage-racing resilience at the Tour de l’Avenir, where he finished 11th overall in the general classification. But he went even further yesterday at the UCI Road U23 World Championships in Rwanda, where — in just his first year of road cycling — he played a key role in a demanding race and claimed silver on the world stage.

“When I received the invitation to the Swiss Test Day, I was both surprised and excited. Visiting the Service Course was impressive, and I went home with great feelings. When Boris (Zimine, Head of the Tudor Development Team) called me the day after, I was really happy.”

“As a Swiss rider, it means a lot to join a Swiss Team. I really connect with the Team’s growth mindset: just as they started from zero and are working toward becoming one of the best in the world, I’m also eager to learn and grow. I believe this is the perfect place for me to develop.”

Jan will begin his journey in Tudor Pro Cycling Devo Team as of 2026.

Congratulations on your silver medal — and welcome to the Team, Jan!
