Double Victory in Tour de Pologne

A perfect final day at the Tour de Pologne: Stefan Küng powers to victory in the decisive individual time trial, while Marco Brenner delivers a strong performance against the clock to secure the overall victory – the biggest stage race win of his career.

It has been an outstanding week of racing in Poland, with Tudor Pro Cycling Team consistently fighting at the front and building towards a memorable final day.

After the opening sprint stages, the battle for the General Classification came alive as the race headed into more demanding terrain. Marco Brenner emerged as one of the strongest contenders, backed by committed teamwork throughout the week.

Stage 4 brought a major setback when Marco was caught up in a large crash. Despite the incident, the 23-year-old German fought his way back into the race and still managed to finish fourth, keeping his GC ambitions alive.

One day later, Marco was back at the front. On the steep uphill finish of stage 5, he attacked in the finale and raced to second place, confirming his climbing strength and moving himself firmly into contention for the overall classification.

Another podium followed on the queen stage. Marco finished third after another strong Team performance, leaving everything open ahead of the final and decisive individual time trial.

And on the final day, everything came together perfectly.

Stefan Küng delivered a powerful ride against the clock to set the fastest time and take the stage victory. It marks Stefan’s first win of the 2026 season and an emotional return to the top step of the podium following his recovery from injury. “This is such a special victory. I was really emotional when I realised I was going to win. The last international race I started ended with a crash and a broken femur, and during some of the difficult moments in my recovery, I honestly doubted whether I would ever make it back to the highest level. To come back from really being at the bottom and win again is unbelievable. A huge thank you to the Team, and everybody, who supported me so much throughout this journey, and of course to my family for always having my back. I’m incredibly grateful to be back at this level, and to win the GC with Marco makes it a perfect day for the Team.“

Behind him, Marco produced the performance he needed to overturn his deficit in the General Classification and take the yellow jersey, sealing overall victory at the 2026 Tour de Pologne.

From fighting back after the crash to three consecutive podium results and ultimately the yellow jersey, Marco completes an exceptional week with the biggest stage-race victory of his career. “Finishing the Tour de Pologne in yellow and winning the race makes me incredibly happy. It will take a few days for me to fully realise what we’ve achieved. The team made it possible.
