Juan David Sierra Takes Victory at Paris-Troyes

Juan David Sierra claimed the first UCI win of the season for him and the Development Team at Paris-Troyes, where the race concluded with a bunch sprint after a solo breakaway rider was caught just a few hundred meters from the finish.

“It’s a great feeling to take this win after a difficult start to the season,” Sierra said. “After Dunkerque, I was motivated to do well. I appreciate the support from my teammates and the team over the past few months.”

The team contributed to controlling the day’s breakaway, with Diego Casagrande and Samuele Alari active in the front of the bunch. In the final kilometers, Jesper (Stiansen) helped position Sierra for the sprint.

“I launched a bit early, but it felt like the right moment,” Sierra added. “Last year I finished fifth here, and the race developed in a similar way, so I’m pleased with the improvement.”

The result marks an important moment for both Sierra and the Devo Team as they continue their 2025 season.
