Yannis Voisard conquers the final climb of stage 3 at the AlUla Tour in Saudi Arabia, seizing a brilliant win, moving into the overall race lead and sealing Tudor Pro Cycling’s first victory of the season.

Traveling through undulating terrain in the desert of AlUla before approaching an uphill finish at Bir Jaydah Mountain Wirkah, the stage offered an opportunity for the climbers and GC riders. Led and protected by his Tudor Pro Cycling Team mates, the Swiss climber paced his effort smartly on the final kilometre to cross the line first and celebrate the second win since joining the pro ranks.
“I had to wait and pace myself until the last kilometre before going all in on the final 1000 meters.“
With two days remaining at the 5-day-long AlUla Tour, Yannis Voisard takes over the green leader’s jersey of the race, securing a 4-second gap over the currently second-placed rider.

Yannis Voisard’s reaction at the finish line:
“It’s amazing to kick off the season with a win! Had to wait quite some time for my second pro win, but now I’m just happy with this victory. I had to wait and pace myself until the last kilometre before going all in on the final 1000 meters. I knew I had a strong finish on a finale like this one. Big shout out to my teammates for their amazing job - that’s a big win for us. Looking at the next days, we’ll do our best to keep the jersey.“
Sports Director Matteo Tosatto on the team’s first victory of the season - a memorable win at a special place:
“We’ve seen a brilliant team effort today, and a very strong Yannis Voisard who not only was the strongest on the final kilometre, but also rode very smartly. The goals for today were to race for the podium and, in a best-case scenario, of course, fight for the win. It’s a very special place here in the desert, and so I think it’s also a special win for Yannis, which he’ll keep in good memory. I’m very happy for him. For tomorrow’s stage, we need to be focused and attentive right from the start as the wind will be a decisive factor.“
