Arvid De Kleijn wins the Grand Prix de Fourmies for the second time

Arvid De Kleijn is back on top in Fourmies.

Two years after his first victory here, the Dutch sprinter returned to the top step of the podium at the Grand Prix de Fourmies, taking a hard-fought bunch sprint after 200.1 kilometres of racing through northern France.

It was a day that demanded patience, positioning and teamwork. With the race heading towards its decisive finale, Tudor Pro Cycling took control of the front and committed fully to its sprinter. Rider by rider, the Team delivered De Kleijn towards the final kilometres, keeping him protected and perfectly positioned for the sprint.

Then, when it mattered most, De Kleijn delivered.

As the finish line came into sight, he opened up his acceleration and timed his effort perfectly to take the win and claim his second Grand Prix de Fourmies victory.

“It was a hard race and I’m super happy to be able to finish this incredible work of the team,” said De Kleijn after the finish. “What they did today is amazing and that’s a team work victory.”

The victory carries particular meaning for the 31-year-old. After a difficult season, De Kleijn had been chasing this moment for months.

“I was chasing this victory the whole year already. I had a really hard year until now, so it’s nice to be back here in Fourmies at a good level.”

His return to Fourmies has now become a story of its own. In 2024, De Kleijn claimed his first victory at the race, adding another memorable result. He now returns two years later to do it again, this time after a season that has tested him in very different ways.

And once again, the victory belongs to the whole Team.

From the first kilometres to the final lead-out, Tudor Pro Cycling worked as one to put its sprinter in the position he needed.

De Kleijn then did what he does best: finishing the job.
