Aivaras Mikutis and Fabian Weiss Extend Contracts Through 2029

Aivaras Mikutis and Fabian Weiss renew their contracts with Tudor Pro Cycling and will strengthen the Team through 2029.

A commitment to developing and supporting young talents on their way towards the highest level: both born in 2002, the Lithuanian and the Swiss rider are still early in their careers, yet they have already gained valuable experience in their first two years at the pro ranks after stepping up from the Tudor Pro Cycling Development Team. Aivaras is a multiple Lithuanian national champion in both road and time trial disciplines and has established himself as a powerful force at the front of the peloton. Fabian, three-time national U23 time trial champion, is currently competing in his first Grand Tour at La Vuelta, where he animates the race with aggressive breakaway efforts, accelerates his learning curve and contributes to the Team’s success. 

Aivaras expresses his enthusiasm for continuing with the Team and emphasizes his focus on development: “I am extremely pleased to extend my contract until 2029. Having an additional three years gives me the confidence and opportunity to fully develop into the rider I aspire to be and contribute to the Team in every race. One of my main goals is to start my first Grand Tour in the coming years and to participate in a wide range of races to discover where I perform best. My time with the Team over the past four years has been incredible – I’ve met many inspiring people who have supported me on my journey. This extension motivates me to keep pushing my limits and exploring how far my career can go. In the years ahead, I hope to continue improving and keep chasing the dream of winning my first professional victory.”

Fabian has been part of the organisation since day one. He feels at home at Tudor Pro Cycling and is looking forward to taking the next steps in his young career: “Extending with the Team is truly my dream scenario, and I’m very thankful to get this opportunity! I have been here since day one, and it’s a privilege to witness the Team’s growth while, at the same time, developing as a rider. Competing in my first Grand Tour now is an important milestone in my development - I am excited to build my future here, excel, and achieve great things together. As a Swiss rider, wearing the Tudor Pro Cycling shield on my chest fills me with pride.”
